Penn State defensive end Demeioun “Chop” Robinson announced Tuesday he is declaring for the NFL Draft. He will not play for the Nittany Lions in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec. 30.
“From one dream to the next, I am excited to continue this next chapter,” Robinson wrote on X.
Robinson, a highly recruited defensive end at Quince Orchard High School, started his college career at Maryland then transferred after his freshman year to Penn State where he became an All-Big 10 player and one of the best edge rushers in the nation.
The 6’3″, 254 lb junior is projected by many to be a first round pick in the NFL Draft which takes place April 25-27.
