Police said a person was found dead Sunday after a reported shooting in downtown Silver Spring.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded to the 1300 block of Fenwick Lane at about 10:36 p.m. for the report, per a release from MCPD. Officers found a deceased person, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore will determine cause and manner of death.
The victim’s name will be released after next of kin is notified, police said.
Police said the death investigation is ongoing.
