A person was rescued Sunday afternoon in Gaithersburg after accidentally backing over themselves with a car, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).
A person who was exiting their car accidentally backed over themselves and became pinned underneath the vehicle in a parking lot around 9700 Fields Road in the area of Washingtonian Tower, according to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer.
Piringer stated that without traditional lifting tools available at the scene, MCFRS used a straight ladder to lift the car.
The person was taken to a hospital, Piringer stated.
