The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a June 18 attempted carjacking in downtown Silver Spring.
Police released surveillance photos of one of two male suspects.
According to police, an adult female parked her vehicle inside a parking garage at 8700 Cameron Street around 8:35 a.m. on June 18. She left her vehicle and was approached by two males. One demanded her keys and assaulted her. Police said that during the incident, another vehicle began approaching the area where the victim parked and the suspects fled without stealing anything from her.
