Police said three males, including one who died, were shot Monday in the Fairland area.
One person is in custody, per the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
According to police, officers and fire rescue personnel responded to the 14300 block of Fairdale Road at about 10:57 p.m. for a reported shooting.
Officers found a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers found a second male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds outside. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Then, a third male was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, and he was also taken to a hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
