A Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School student was charged after assaulting a school security employee on campus about two weeks ago, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
On Feb. 3 at about 1:05 p.m., officers responded to the school in Bethesda for a reported assault, police said in a statement to MyMCM. Arriving officers determined a student assaulted a school security employee. Police said the student punched and kicked the victim, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The student faces first and second-degree assault related charges, according to police.
