Police said a black bear was seen in Rockville on Tuesday and authorities ask residents to call police if they see it.
Police were made aware of several sightings around W. Kersey Lane, Sunrise Drive and Bent Pine Court around 6 a.m., according to the Rockville City Police Department (RCPD).
The police department is working with the Department of Natural Resources to alert sightings, according to RCPD.
Police ask residents to call RCPD at 240-314-8900 if they see the black bear.
