Police Identify Motorcyclist in Fatal White Oak Collision

Police identified the motorcyclist who died in a White Oak area collision Saturday as 30-year-old Christian Ronaldo Guillen of Silver Spring.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) stated Saturday.

Officers and fire rescue personnel responded to Lockwood Drive and Columbia Pike close to 6 p.m. Saturday for a reported single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, according to police.

In an update Monday, police stated Guillen was on a 1998 Honda CBR600 going northbound on Columbia Pike, and turned right onto Lockwood Drive, left the road and hit a metal light support pole. He was ejected and later pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing. Detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call 240-773-6620.
