Police identified a pedestrian who was fatally struck last Thursday in Silver Spring.
Victor Perez, 57, was pronounced dead at a hospital, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
County police and fire rescue responded to East Franklin Avenue and Seminole Street last Thursday for reports of a crash involving a Honda CR-V driver and a pedestrian, according to police. First responders found Perez with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Detectives urge anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at 240-773-6620.
