Police are investigating two back-to-back store break-ins in Bethesda last month.

According to the Montgomery County Police Department, last month on Sept. 9 two suspects forced entry into the Village Green Apothecary vitamins and supplements store on W. Cedar Lane at about 3:41 a.m. and tried to steal property/money. A few minutes later, they broke into the Exxon gas station in the 7900 block of Old Georgetown Road, where they stole a safe with money and left.

Police seek to identify suspects and shared surveillance video. Police ask anyone with information to give a tip by calling 1-866-411-8477 or visiting the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County website and clicking www.p3tips.com. Police say tips leading to arrest may be eligible for a reward from $250-$10,000. Tips can be anonymous.
