Takoma Park Police responded to an armed robbery at the 7-11 in the 13000 block of University Boulevard at 3 a.m. Tuesday.
According to store surveillance, an Hispanic male who was not wearing a shirt but did have on dark pants, white sneakers and a black ski mask entered the convenience store, grabbed merchandise and then proceeded to the register.
The man, who was carrying a coral-colored shirt, was then joined by another Hispanic male, who was wearing a dark hoodie, light gray pants, gray shoes and a black ski mask.
The second suspect pointed a black handgun at the cashier and demanded money. The cashier complied, and the suspect who entered the store first grabbed the cash register tray. Both men then fled, according to police.
The store employee was not seriously injured, police said.
