Update (3:45 p.m.): A 16-year-old, 17-year-old and 18-year-old have been arrested and charged with a homicide that occurred in Bethesda Monday night, per a release from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
Original (2:30 p.m.): Police are investigating a homicide that occurred around Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, according to a release from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
Officers responded to the 6800 block of Wisconsin Avenue around 8:15 p.m. Monday night for a reported “suspicious situation.” They found a man in a stairwell with trauma to his body and he was pronounced dead on the scene. Police will identify him after notifying next of kin.
This is an active homicide investigation. MCPD asks anyone with information to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
