A shooting in White Oak sent a victim to the hospital in critical condition, the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) said in a release Wednesday.
Around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday morning, officers responded to the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive to assist a fire/rescue call with an unconscious victim. Officers determined the victim had suffered a gunshot wound and the person was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Investigators believe the shooting happened “outside and only a short distance from where the victim was located,” police said.
