Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) is investigating a fatal collision from Oct. 30 in Rockville.
At around 5:24 a.m., a black Lexus GS hit Luis Rios Chirinos, 28, of Gaithersburg, while trying to cross Veir Mill Road from the median near the intersection with Robindale Drive, according to a press release. MCPD said Chirinos was transported to a hospital and died on Nov. 11.
MCPD said the Lexus driver remained on the site and is cooperating with the Collision Reconstruction Unit’s (CRU) investigation.
