The Montgomery County Department of Police is investigating the homicide of a man that occurred in Montgomery Village Sunday morning.
37-year-old Mark Earl Leonard Webb was found unresponsive by a 6th district officer around 5:49 a.m. after the officer was investigating an unrelated call. Police found Webb lying face down in an apartment parking lot near the 9300 block of Willow Creek Drive.
According to an MCPD press release, Webb appeared to be suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The responding officer attempted lifesaving measures, but Webb was later declared dead at the scene. Webb’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.
