Montgomery County Police are looking for help in identifying a suspect from an April 11 robbery.
Police shared a photo of the suspect on their social media accounts, describing him as an “black male, approximately 20 to 25-years-old with a scruffy beard.”
According to the suspect identification post, the suspect approached the victim at a Silver Spring Bank of America ATM and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. According to police, when the victim tried to stop the suspect, the man assaulted the victim and escaped on a red and black scooter.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the suspect or crime to visit the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County website at www.crimesolversmcmd.org. Information leading to an arrest may result in an award ranging from $250 to $10,000.
