Police said two men were taken to a hospital after a shooting at the Clyde’s of Chevy Chase restaurant very early Monday.
One of the men was shot and both had non-life-threatening injuries, per a release from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). Officers responded to the location at about 12:15 a.m. for a reported assault, police said.
According to MCPD, a suspect got into a verbal argument with the victims inside the restaurant. Once outside, the suspect shot one man in the upper body and hit the other man in the face and left.
Police describe the suspect as “an adult Black male, with a slim build, armed with a handgun and between 20 and 25-years-old.”
