Montgomery County Police Officer H. Chen reached deep down into a storm drain Wednesday morning to rescue eight fluffy ducklings who apparently were trapped.
A concerned resident noticed a duck acting strangely near the drain by a CVS on Olney Sandy Spring Road in Olney and contacted the police for assistance.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services workers lifted the storm drain cover, and Officer Chen reached down and brought the ducklings back to their mother, according to a report on MCPD’s Twitter page.
