Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division continue to investigate a robbery of the Tobacco King store that occurred Sunday, April 28 in the 7000 block of Wisconsin Avenue. Detectives released surveillance photographs of the two suspects and ask for the public’s help to identify them.
On Sunday, April 21, at approximately 7:58 p.m., two men approached and entered the store, according to the detectives. They demanded money from the cash register. The store employee complied with the demands and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the register. Both suspects then left the store.
Police describe the first suspect as a White or Hispanic male, in his late teens, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, gray or white Avia shoes, a blue surgical mask and a gray baseball hat.
The second suspect is described as a Black male in his early twenties, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall. He was wearing all black clothing, one black latex glove, a black ski mask, white socks, and dark sneakers. He was carrying a black backpack
