Police are investigating a residential burglary in Bethesda and released surveillance video to seek help identifying suspects.
At about 9 p.m. on Nov. 24, 2022, Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) officers responded to the 4800 block of Fairmont Avenue for a reported burglary that happened earlier, per a release Tuesday from MCPD.
Police said that at about 6:10 p.m., a silver Honda and an orange SUV stopped in front of the condominium complex at the location. Two male suspects exited the Honda and both cars drove away. One suspect forced entry into a second-story apartment while the second was a “lookout.”
The suspect inside the apartment rummaged through, stealing property and an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. Both suspects then left the scene in the Honda, followed by the SUV, police said.
MCPD asks anyone with information to call the 2nd District Investigative Section at (240) 773-6710 or contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Up to $10,000 is offered for information that leads to arrest. Callers can be anonymous.
