The Montgomery County Department of Police has released surveillance video of the suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery of a pharmacy in Gaithersburg. Investigators are hoping that the public can help in identifying the man.
Police responded to the Potomac Care Pharmacy on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at about 7:10 p.m. to the report of an attempted armed robbery. The suspect, after entering the pharmacy, told an employee working behind the counter that he was armed with a handgun and proceeded to demand cash. He then fled the scene after the employee activated the pharmacy’s alarm system.
The case is still under investigation. MCP is offering up to $10,000 in a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
