Police Request Help Locating Man Convicted of Sex Trafficking

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police’s Vice and Intelligence Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating Ernest Gerald Wilkerson, who is wanted for failure to comply with pre-trial conditions following a sex trafficking conviction.

Wilkerson, 35, of Rockville, was convicted on Feb. 22, 2024 of two counts of sex trafficking and two related prostitution charges.

Wilkerson’s pre-trial release required him to be fitted with an ankle monitor.  According to police, that monitor was tampered with on March 7, 2024, and Wilkerson has not been seen since. A bench warrant for his arrest was issued on March 12, 2024.

Anyone with information on Wilkerson’s location is asked to go to the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County, MD website at www.crimesolversmcmd.org and click the “Submit a Tip” link at the top of the page or call 1-866-411-8477.  A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to Wilkerson’s arrest. Tips may be submitted anonymously.
