Police said a Rockville man has been arrested for several robberies in the Fallsgrove area, including one involving a Girl Scout troop.
Gerrard Luke Harrison, 24, has been charged with armed robbery, robbery, firearm possession by a prohibited person, use of handgun in connection with a felony, second-degree assault, and having a handgun on person, per a release from the Rockville City Police Department (RCPD).
According to police, on Feb. 12, RCPD responded to Safeway at 14939 Shady Grove Road for a reported male subject who was stealing money from a Girl Scout troop selling cookies in front of the store.
Nearly a week later on Feb. 18, police responded to the 700 block of Fallsgrove Drive for a reported robbery in which a male suspect armed with a handgun robbed money from a food delivery driver.
Investigators with RCPD and Montgomery County Police identified Harrison as a subject, police said.
Last Friday, March 3, a search and arrest warrant was served in the 700 block of Fallsgrove Drive. During the search, multiple evidentiary items were found in the residence and Harrison was arrested without incident.
RCPD said investigation will continue to determine additional charges and his involvement in other crimes. Harrison is being held on bond.
