A 21-year-old Rockville man was killed Monday night after police said he and the suspect got into an argument.
Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) officers responded to the 10100 block of Reprise Drive for a reported shooting at about 9 p.m., according to a release from MCPD.
Officers found the victim, Deonte Foreman, with multiple stab wounds and administered first aid until Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service arrived. Foreman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, Demarco Rayford, 25, of Gaithersburg, was arrested at the scene, police said.
According to police, Foreman and Rayford got into an argument which escalated into a physical altercation, and Rayford allegedly stabbed Foreman. Police said Rayford is charged with second-degree murder.
This is an active and ongoing investigation. Police said there is currently no mugshot available for Rayford.
