Takoma Park Police Department is investigating an armed robbery Sunday at the intersection of Hammond Avenue and Anne Street around 10 p.m.
According to police, the victim was walking towards University Boulevard on Anne Street when he was approached by two males who pushed him down and ordered him not to look at them. The victim was not seriously injured.
The suspects then fled to a waiting black four-door sedan, which then was driven on Kennewick Avenue toward Lockney Avenue, police said.
The suspects were described as wearing white hooded sweatshirts, black masks and blue jeans. They both were armed with handguns, police said.
