Two men broke into Zenmen Market in the 7600 block of Maple Avenue in Takoma Park and stole boxes of cigarettes and cash.
According to Takoma Park Police, on Monday at 5 a.m. the market’s burglary alarm went off. When police arrived, they saw that the front glass door and been shattered.
Surveillance video showed two suspects, who police described as Black males, dressed all in black and wearing ski masks and gloves. The video shows them kicking in the front door.
Once inside the market, the suspects went behind the counter and stole multiple boxes of cigarettes as well as cash from two registers.
