Detectives seek to identify suspects who police said assaulted and robbed victims in the bathroom at Dave & Buster’s in downtown Silver Spring.
Police have released surveillance video. According to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD), victims were in the bathroom at the Dave & Buster’s in the 8600 block of Colesville Road on Oct. 18 at about 8 p.m. and were approached by three male suspects. Police said the suspects demanded the victims’ property and when they did not comply, the suspects physically assaulted them and stole their property.
The suspects then ran out of the bathroom. According to police, they were seen on surveillance video leaving Dave & Buster’s with a female.
Police described the suspects as “three Black males wearing all black clothing.” Police described the first suspect as “short and was wearing red and white Jordan sneakers.” Police described the second suspect as “tall with white shoes” and described the third as “average height, wearing a ski mask and green and gray sneakers.”
MCPD asks anyone with information to give a tip by calling 1-866-411-8477 or by going to the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County website and clicking www.p3tips.com. Up to $10,000 is offered for information that leads to arrest. Tips can be anonymous.
