Police said detectives seek to identify suspects in a 7-Eleven armed robbery in Rockville.
It happened last week on Monday, May 13 at the 7-Eleven in the 1700 block of Rockville Pike, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) on Thursday.
Police released surveillance video and photos of the suspects. Detectives ask for the public’s help identifying them.
According to police, last week on Monday, May 13 Rockville City Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven for a reported armed robbery. Police said two male suspects went into the store and demanded money from an employee behind the counter. One suspect implied he had a handgun and when the employee opened the cash registers, the suspect took money while a second suspect stole merchandise from the store.
Both suspects then left, police stated.
Police described the first suspect as “a Black male, approximately 25-years old, with an average build, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, wearing dark clothing and white/red sneakers.” Police described the second suspect as “a Black male, approximately 35-years old, with a heavy-set build, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, wearing black clothing, a black Nike hat and a white COVID-style mask.”
