Police said a suspect allegedly stole a total of about $7,000 in merchandise on separate occasions from Amazon Fresh in Chevy Chase.
It happened over 36 separate instances between last October and April 18 of this year at the location on Wisconsin Avenue, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
Police seek to identify the suspect, described as “a Black male, approximately 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.” Police released surveillance photos.
The police department asks anyone with information to give a tip by calling 1-866-411-8477 or visiting the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County website and clicking www.p3tips.com. Police say tips leading to arrest may be eligible for a reward from $250-$10,000. Tips can be anonymous.
