The 30th Annual Poolesville Day Festival is being held this Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The community event – a regular tradition for residents – will have musical guests, as well as representation from various county organizations and departments according to the event website. .
“As an annual reunion of sorts for neighbors and acquaintances, the event fulfills its time-honored reputation as a day for all: young and old, new to the town, and lifelong residents,” reads the event website. “For visitors, there is no better day to get a “feel” for the community.”
Among the musical guests in appearance for the event is headliner The Bad Influence Band – who is performing with special guest Mary Shaver. In addition to playing festivals, the band has also played at the Kennedy Center.
Residents will also have the chance to interact with several county departments at the festival. The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Pedestrian Safety Team will be present to share safety tips with the community.
On Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 11am–4pm, the MCDOT Pedestrian Safety Team will be at the @PoolesvilleDay Festival to share walking, biking, and driving safety tips with the @MontgomeryCoMD community.

Additionally, over 200 electric vehicles will be on display. According to the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection, community members will have the chance to test drive an electronic vehicle and talk to electric vehicle owners.

Those looking to attend the Poolesville Day Festival will have the option of utilizing Ride On’s all electric transit bus, which will be running all-day shuttle service between the County Outdoor Pools Parking Lot and the Catholic Church, according to Ride On.
