The Town of Poolesville held its election on November 5. According to the town website, about a third of local residents went to the polls.
To fill vacancies left by three retired commissioners, they re-elected incumbent Ed Reed. Brian Bupp, who served on the planning commission, and Alan Hobbs will serve for the first time. Incumbent Jeff Eck was defeated. Martin Radigan decided not to run in this election season.
Commissioners for the Town of Poolesville serve a four-year term.
