According to the National Weather Service, seven tornados swept through the Washington area on Wednesday as part of a supercell. One touched down in Poolesville. MCM witnessed the damage on Thursday. Crossvines Assistant Winemaker Tyler Henley took us on a tour of the random destruction.
The trailer that went sailing out of the vineyard into the golfing area weighs about 9 thousand pounds. And it landed upside down. Luckily the tender grape vines suffered little damage. Crossvines hopes to move the truck trailer off the driving range on Friday.
