The cast and official trailer for “Love Is Blind” Season 7 was revealed on Wednesday, with this season being set in D.C.
Netflix teased viewers with a first look, showing glimpses of everything from proposals to breakdowns. The streaming platform promised viewers that “emotions are sure to run high” as the love hopefuls confront their biggest fears, dealbreakers, and dating histories.
Montgomery County’s own Perry Slomnicki, a realtor from Potomac and graduate of Churchill High School, landed a spot on the roster. He claims that the Maryland suburb is the “type of town where you get asked out on LinkedIn.”
Rockville resident and commercial real estate agent Nick Pugh also joined the experiment, looking for a partner who is willing to fully accept him — and his 9-year-old son. “He’s my why,” said Pugh.
Other contestants are from areas in the DMV such as Virginia Beach, Baltimore, and Annapolis.
The show also will be making history this season as the first ever pair of siblings, Nina and Tara Zafar, enter the pod.
Returning to the hit series this fall are hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey.

The show aired in 2020 as a mid-pandemic solution to finding love while socially distant. Not only did it prove that one could find love through a screen, but also a giant wall.
The contestants are placed in the “pod”, which is a room separating a couple on opposite sides of a wall, leaving them to question their connections based solely on blind conversations.
At the end of about 10 days, the longest lasting couples propose to one another. After the proposals, contestants jet off to Mexico to meet face-to-face for the first time. If they last past Mexico, the couples get to return home for four weeks and introduce their partner to their inner circles.
The big jump comes at the end of the show when the couples decide whether they wish to marry their partner, or go home loveless.
The first six episodes of Season 7 are set to air on Wednesday, October 2 on Netflix.
