Potomac Native Maggie Rose Nominated for First Grammy

Potomac native Maggie Rose was nominated for her first-ever Grammy Award Friday for her album “No One Gets Out Alive” in the category of Best Americana Album.

Rose wrote on Facebook, “I am completely overwhelmed with gratitude and don’t quite have the words yet but THANK YOU for nominating “No One Gets Out Alive” for the GRAMMY for Best Americana Album of the Year. Wow. So thankful for the experiences that lead to the music and proud of everyone who helped me put this project together. Thanks you, most of all, for celebrating this music and giving it life.”

Rose grew up in Potomac attending Little Flower School and Georgetown Visitation before going to Clemson University.

She has lived in Nashville the last several years.

The Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, Feb. 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will be televised by CBS.

Maggie Rose will be performing her annual Christmas Concert Dec. 20 and 21 at the Bethesda Theater.
