There were no winners in Saturday’s Powerball jackpot drawing which means the new estimated jackpot for Monday’s drawing is $1 billion. That’s billion with a “b.”
That is the second largest Powerball jackpot in the game’s 30-year history and the fifth-largest jackpot in lottery history. The estimated cash value for the Oct. 31 drawing is $497.3 million.
Maryland Lottery officials report that there were seven second-tier tickets sold for Saturday’s drawing. That means the tickets matched the first five numbers in Saturday’s drawing but did not match the Powerball number. All five of the tickets won $1 million prizes. One of those seven tickets was sold at a Giant in Bowie, Md.
The winning numbers for the Oct. 29th jackpot were: 19-31-40-46-57, Powerball: 23 .
The next Powerball jackpot drawing will be 11 p.m. Monday. Watch the drawing at Powerball.com.
