No one won Monday night’s Powerball jackpot of $900 million so the jackpot has grown to $1 billion. That’s billion with a “b.” The jackpot for Wednesday night’s drawing is the third largest in the game’s 30-year history. The estimated cash value for the July 19 drawing is $516.8 million.
The winning numbers drawn Monday were 5-8-9-17-41 and the Powerball was 21.
Powerball has nine prize tiers ranging from $4 up to the jackpot. There were eight tickets sold for Monday night’s drawing that matched all five winning numbers, but not the Powerball. Those eight tickets win $1 or $2 million.
Powerball drawings are broadcast live every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and live streamed online at Powerball.com. The next drawing takes place Wednesday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
Monday's drawing had Match 5 + Powerball winners in #Arkansas, #Georgia & #Texas and Match 5 winners in #Connecticut, #Florida, #Kentucky, #NewYork & #Pennsylvania but NO JACKPOT WINNERS!
Now the #Powerball is currently worth an estimated $1 BILLION!
