Purple Line construction will temporarily close Manchester Road north of Wayne Avenue in Silver Spring. The closure will last about six weeks, affecting several Ride On bus routes.

Route 12
- To Takoma: Detours from Wayne Avenue and Sligo Creek Parkway, turning onto Flower Avenue and returning to the route.
- To Silver Spring: Detours from Flower Avenue and Piney Branch Road, returning to Wayne Avenue.
Bypassed Stops:
- East Wayne Avenue at Manchester Road, Manchester Place, and Flower Avenue
- Flower Avenue at Plymouth Street and Hartwell Road
Alternate Stops:
- Manchester Road at Wayne Avenue
- Flower Avenue at Piney Branch Road
- Wayne Avenue at Mansfield Road
Route 13
- To Takoma: Detours through Three Oaks Drive, Parkside, and Schuyler Road, then rejoins the route.
- To Silver Spring: Follows a similar detour, rejoining at Colesville Road.

- East Wayne Avenue at Manchester Road, Manchester Place, and Flower Avenue
- Flower Avenue at Plymouth Street and Hartwell Road
