On a cold, rainy night in Gaithersburg, University of Maryland commit Iverson “Rocket” Howard rushed for 4 touchdowns – including a 62-yarder in the third quarter – leading Quince Orchard to a 38-3 victory over B-CC in the quarterfinals of the Maryland state 3A playoffs. The Cougars (11-0) will play Broadneck (10-1) in the state semifinals on Friday at 3 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis.
