On Thursday, Rep. Jamie Raskin said he was on the verge of undergoing his final chemotherapy treatment for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma which was diagnosed in December.
“Friday is my very last session. The doctors tell me the chemotherapy has extinguished the cancer cells, at least as far as they can tell,” Raskin said.
“It’s almost extinguished me in the process, but I’m hanging in there. I’m gonna make it through,” Raskin said.
Glad to see this good news, @RepRaskin! Keep up the good fight to protect and strengthen our democracy! https://t.co/qV55XZE0LE
