The House Select Committee to Investigate the Jan. 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol held its seventh hearing on Tuesday.
During a Montgomery County media briefing Wednesday, Committee Member U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-8) highlighted the latest hearing, in which he played a leading role.
He said it focused on the time period between the meeting of electors in Dec. 2020 and Jan. 5, 2021 just before the attack.
Raskin said the next hearing will focus on the day of Jan. 6 itself.
“On those 187 minutes when then-President Trump did nothing, essentially,” he said.
