U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-8), U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and Aruna Miller, Democratic nominee for Maryland Lieutenant Governor rallied up the Democratic faithful Wednesday night to go vote and to get others to vote as well.
The rally, attended by many local and state candidates and elected officials, was held at the Silver Spring Civic Building.
Calls for Maryland and the rest of the country going All Blue could be heard throughout the rally. “Democracy is on the ballot,” declared both Raskin and Van Hollen.
All those in attendance were urged to post yard signs, attach bumper stickers to their car, knock on doors, make calls and send postcards and texts – all in support of Democratic candidates.
Thank you to @VanHollenForMD, @arunamiller, and all elected officials and true-blue Democrats who came to downtown Silver Spring last night for our 2022 GOTV Rally! The party of democracy and freedom is ready to roll in November. pic.twitter.com/ZiTeoJhI4O
