As Rep. Jamie Raskin continues to recover from Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma, which he called “a serious but curable form of cancer,” he has returned to the U.S. Capitol sporting a new bandana given to him by none other than Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s guitarist Stevie Van Zandt.
The head covering used to hide his apparent hair loss from the chemo-immunotherapy he is receiving is “a gift I will treasure almost as much as his song “I am a patriot,'” Raskin tweeted.
Look out for more great fashion statements now that Raskin has promised “a step up in my chemo head-cover fashions for the next few months.”
Look what I received from one of the greatest musicians on earth, a gift I will treasure almost as much as his song “I am a patriot.” You are about to see a step up in my chemo head-cover fashions for the next few months. Rock on Stevie, keep spreading the light. pic.twitter.com/xnhFe8Gqk4
