A ballot recount is underway to confirm the Democratic nominee for Montgomery County Executive.
Candidate David Blair requested the recount this week after incumbent Marc Elrich was certified as the Democratic nominee in the primary election by 35 votes.
The recount began Friday morning at the Germantown Community Recreation Center. It will continue through the weekend until it is complete. Residents can find the livestream here.
