Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) will reopen its Maggie Nightingale branch on Saturday, May 21.
The branch was closed on Aug. 2 for renovations as part of the library refresh program. Renovations to the Maggie Nightingale library include the replacement of all flooring, new shelving in select areas, a new service desk, painting throughout, additional lounge seating, and replacement of the entry doors. ADA accessibility upgrades were also completed.

To celebrate its reopening, County Executive Marc Elrich invites the public to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. May 21 at the library, which is located at 19633 Fisher Avenue in Poolesville.
