Congresswoman April McClain Delaney is hosting a tele-town hall Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
According to a press release “McClain and her team have answered thousands of calls and emails in the weeks since the Trump administration began announcing sweeping executive orders and mandates to freeze federal funding, shutter federal agencies, and threaten widespread termination of federal employees.”
According to the Congresswoman, the goal of the tele-town hall is to listen to and provide answers for Marylanders and to further address her constituents’ concerns.
Maryland Senator Angela Alsobrooks will also join at the top of the town hall to share what she is doing in the Senate to address these actions.
Joining McClain Delaney on the panel will be Daniel Horowitz, Acting Department Director, Legislative, Political & Mobilization Department, AFGE/AFL-CIO, who will speak to labor issues and Megan Uzzell, Director of Impact and External Affairs, Democracy Forward, who will address the legality of the executive orders and mandates.
