U.S. Rep. David Trone (D-Md.) spoke to MyMCMedia about this week’s unconventional virtual Democratic National Convention. Trone is excited about this year’s Democratic ticket and said, “I thought the virtual piece just knocked it out of the park and the conventions will change forever.”
On Thursday, two women with Montgomery County connections had prominent roles at the convention: host Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Holton-Arms School) and comedian and Trump lipsyncer Sarah Cooper (Magruder High School). Tom Perez, a former Montgomery County Councilmember, chairs the Democratic National Committee.
