Six of the Republican Congressional candidates for U.S. Congressional District 6 whose names will appear on the May 14 primary ballot participated in a forum at the Poolesville Town Hall last week. The event was sponsored by Republicans of Legislative District 15 (LD-15) and the Rural Women’s Republican Club. My MCM recorded their opening statements.
A question-and-answer session followed with the border and the economy seen as the most important issue by the candidates. Congressional District 6 is currently represented by David Trone. The event was moderated by Dan Cuda, Chair of Republicans of LD-15.
