The Montgomery County Department of Recreation is hosting a “Rec N’ Resources Open House” on Nov. 4 at the East County Community Recreation Center in Silver Spring.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and feature games, music, and other activities for families to enjoy.

“The Rec N’ Resources Open House will showcase many of the programs and services available to our residents in East County,” said Montgomery County Recreation Director Robin Riley in a press release.
Contractor demonstrations will be held to show different programs, and representatives from the following county agencies will be available to speak with residents and provide information:
- Department of Environmental Protection,
- Department of Permitting Services
- Department of Transportation
- Commission on Aging
- Board of Elections
Representatives from Montgomery College and Mobile Medical Care will also be available.
