The Department of Transportation will adjust Ride On Bus schedules to improve efficiency and rider experience, starting May 7.
Routes 16, 20 and 26 will have running time adjustments that aim to improve timeliness. Besides these three routes, no other routes will undergo any changes to their schedules. New schedules are available at the Ride On website.
Changes to the schedule are based on ridership data and on-time performance. According to the Montgomery County Department of Transportation, performance data is monitored regularly to identify possible improvements that could decrease wait times for riders.
Planned service changes occur three times each year in January, May and September.
