A nanobrewery in Rockville is capitalizing on Gov. Larry Hogan’s viral quote, “Just wear the damn masks,” by creating a beer in his honor that is expected to debut next month.
Saints Row Brewing on Taft Street notes on its webpage that its latest beer as “coming soon, dry hopped pils.”
At a press conference last month, Hogan urged residents to follow COVID-19 guidance and said mask-wearing is the single best way to fight the illness.
“I mean it’s that simple. It’s not that hard. Just wear the damn masks,” Hogan said. A video from the governor’s office recapping the message received thousands of likes and retweets on Twitter.
